Position Title: Janitor and Cleaner

Role Overview:
This role supports custodial operations in a multi-story court facility with an initial focus on intensive deep cleaning followed by ongoing cleaning responsibilities. The position may be structured as either part-time or full-time based on building needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform deep cleaning of the building including the first week focused on intensive tasks.

Clean the first-floor lobby courtroom judicial suites break rooms kitchen housekeeping/storage and maintenance rooms.

Complete first floor window cleaning and routine custodial tasks using standard cleaning equipment.

Safely lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs as part of daily duties.
Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum 1 year of experience as a custodial or maintenance worker preferably in large or commercial facilities.

High school diploma or equivalent or 2 years of professional janitorial/custodial experience in lieu of education.

Experience using housekeeping cart mop broom vacuum and standard cleaning equipment.

Knowledge of cleaning products including how to clean and treat different types of surfaces.

Ability to speak and understand English and reliably lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to successfully complete a Level 2 background check and meet standard onboarding requirements.

Additional Details:
Work schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a 1-hour lunch. Dress code is casual with no inappropriate attire in accordance with court standards. The client can consider either two part-time schedules (20 hours per week) or one full-time schedule (40 hours per week) depending on candidate preference and need.
