A leading secondary school in Oxford is seeking a dedicated Physics Teacher to join its thriving Science Department on a full-time basis from January 2026. This exciting role involves teaching Physics across KS3KS5 in a high-achieving environment where academic success and teacher development go hand in hand.

Salary: MPS/UPS (based on experience)

This Ofsted Outstanding 1118 academy has a roll of approximately 1300 students including a large Sixth Form of over 350. The school prides itself on its excellent academic outcomes with over 75% of pupils achieving grades 95 in English and Maths at GCSE and a strong record of A-level success.

Your Role:

  • Deliver high-quality Physics lessons across KS3KS5.

  • Prepare engaging lessons that balance theory with practical experimentation.

  • Support enrichment such as Physics Olympiads STEM clubs and educational trips.

  • Track progress and provide targeted interventions to stretch and support all learners.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold a degree in Physics or a related subject.

  • Have QTS (PGCE or equivalent).

  • Be confident teaching Physics at KS4 and KS5.

  • Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a passion for science education.

  • Have the legal right to work in the UK.
