Job Description
Are you an inspiring Biology Teacher with a passion for the natural sciences and hands-on learning
A thriving secondary school in Dorset is seeking a motivated Biology Teacher to join its Science Department from January 2026. This role offers the chance to teach Biology from KS3 to KS5 in a well-resourced department with strong academic results.

This Ofsted Good 1118 school has approximately 1100 students including a popular Sixth Form of 250. The school has a strong record of success with 70% of students achieving grades 95 in English and Maths at GCSE and Biology performing particularly well at A-level with 65% of students achieving grades A*B.

Your Role:
Deliver Biology lessons across KS3KS5.
Inspire students to pursue scientific pathways and careers.
Organise or support enrichment activities such as fieldwork and competitions.
Ensure all learners are stretched supported and engaged.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold a degree in Biology or a related subject.
Have QTS (PGCE or equivalent).
Be confident teaching Biology to A-level.
Have excellent subject knowledge and practical skills.
Have the legal right to work in the UK.
