Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver highly engaging MFL lessons fostering strong grammatical understanding and conversational fluency across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Utilise a range of advanced teaching strategies to ensure all pupils including the most able make measurable progress towards strong GCSE outcomes.
- Organise and implement interventions and extension work to raise attainment and prepare high-flyers for A-Level study.
- Contribute to the departments cultural enrichment potentially running international school links or planning student trips.
- Work collaboratively and professionally within a supportive and high-achieving school environment.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent and a relevant degree in Modern Foreign Languages.
- Fluency in French and/or Spanish is preferred with the ability to teach up to Key Stage 4 (GCSE).
- Strong classroom management and a proactive engaging teaching style.
