Sr. Backend Engineer

As a Backend Engineer you will be a key contributor to designing and implementing our core platform infrastructure and APIs. Youll work closely with the product data and frontend teams to build robust high-performance backend systems using (TypeScript preferred) and Python. Your work will directly impact how enterprises and recruiters engage with talent in a completely new way.

• Build test and scale backend services using (preferably with TypeScript) and Python (Flask/FastAPI/Django) - preferably FastAPI
• Design modular reusable services following best practices in microservices architecture
• Write efficient secure and well-documented RESTful APIs and background jobs
• Create and optimize complex data models and queries using PostgreSQL MySQL MongoDB and Cassandra
• Design and integrate services across a cloud-native architecture (AWS/GCP)
• Own deployments and release pipelines with CI/CD tools and DevOps best practices
• Implement observability logging monitoring and alerting for backend systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams including Product QA DevOps and Frontend engineers

• 4 6 years of backend development experience in and Python
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming API design patterns and request/response lifecycle in web systems
• Experience working with RDBMS (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL stores (MongoDB/Cassandra) in production environments
• Hands-on experience deploying and scaling applications in cloud-native environments (preferably AWS or GCP)
• Solid understanding of DevOps workflows specially building CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments
• Exposure to agile product engineering teams and experience working in SaaS product environments
• Ability to write clean maintainable and testable code with unit/integration test coverage

• Exposure to tools and frameworks related to Generative AI LLMs families RAG-based systems and multi-agent architectures
  • These include model families like OpenAI Meta Mistral Claude
  • Frameworks like Langchain Llamaindex CrewAI LangGraph
  • Vector DBs like FAISS Pinecone Weaviate
  • Prompt engineering techniques
• Experience integrating with 3rd-party HR/ATS systems or job boards via API
• Understanding of access control multi-tenancy and user/session management in B2B SaaS platforms
