Position Overview
We are seeking a System Analyst 3 (Rhapsody Integration Engineer) to join its team. This role is responsible for designing developing and maintaining multiple Rhapsody integration solutions that support secure and efficient exchange of healthcare data across systems.
The analyst will play a critical role in advancing interoperability ensuring compliance with healthcare standards (HL7 FHIR X12) and enabling seamless integration with electronic health record (EHR) platforms such as Cerner Millennium.
This position is ideal for an experienced integration specialist who thrives in a collaborative environment has strong technical expertise and understands the complexities of healthcare IT systems.
Key Responsibilities

Design develop maintain and enhance Rhapsody integration solutions.

Perform data mapping transformation and validation across disparate healthcare systems.

Develop custom logic and scripts (e.g. JavaScript) within Rhapsody for tailored integration needs.

Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Support interoperability initiatives by implementing HL7 FHIR and eICR data exchange standards.

Troubleshoot optimize and maintain SQL Server databases and related integration processes.

Ensure compliance with HIPAA HITECH and other regulatory frameworks.

Provide technical expertise on secure data exchange protocols (VPN SFTP HTTPS).

Act as a subject matter expert for interface engines and healthcare interoperability best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications

3 years of HL7 interface development experience using Rhapsody.

2 years of experience with EHR systems (Cerner Millennium strongly preferred).

Proficiency in healthcare data exchange standards: HL7 FHIR X12 eICR.

Strong development skills with SQL Server XML JavaScript.

Working knowledge of TCP/IP HTTPS Web Services Microsoft OS security protocols.

Demonstrated ability to perform end-to-end integration mapping transformation and validation.

Familiarity with healthcare interoperability regulations (HIPAA HITECH).

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
