Position Product Manager
Location Northville MI

we need an experienced Product Manager to lead our lab function.
Role Overview:
Senior higher-comp position owning product development in the personal care and household categories. The hire must bring a strong laboratory background and be able to independently run physicochemical and performance testing while driving products from concept to launch in partnership with R&D production and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead product development from concept through commercialization.
- Independently run physicochemical tests (pH viscosity stability active content).
- Conduct performance evaluations for personal care and household products.
- Partner with third-party labs and factory chemists to meet spec quality and performance targets.
- Analyze results and recommend formulation improvements.
- Track industry trends and competitors to inform innovation.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or higher in Chemistry Chemical Engineering Cosmetic Science or related field.
- More than 3 years in a daily chemical manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on lab expertise in physicochemical and performance testing.
- Working knowledge of applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Strong organization communication and documentation skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
