Position Product Manager

Location Northville MI

Full Time.

we need an experienced Product Manager to lead our lab function.

Role Overview:

Senior higher-comp position owning product development in the personal care and household categories. The hire must bring a strong laboratory background and be able to independently run physicochemical and performance testing while driving products from concept to launch in partnership with R&D production and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead product development from concept through commercialization.
Independently run physicochemical tests (pH viscosity stability active content).
Conduct performance evaluations for personal care and household products.
Partner with third-party labs and factory chemists to meet spec quality and performance targets.
Analyze results and recommend formulation improvements.
Track industry trends and competitors to inform innovation.

Requirements:

Bachelors or higher in Chemistry Chemical Engineering Cosmetic Science or related field.
More than 3 years in a daily chemical manufacturing environment.
Hands-on lab expertise in physicochemical and performance testing.
Working knowledge of applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Strong organization communication and documentation skills.
Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
