Job Summary

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Senior / Tax Manager with an Enrolled Agent (EA) or CPA designation to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a small firm environment enjoys client interaction and is passionate about tax planning and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review HNW individual trust and estate tax returns and experience in business (S-Corp C-Corp Partnership).
Conduct tax research and provide strategic tax planning for clients
Communicate directly with clients and financial advisors to gather information explain tax concepts and deliver results
Assist with IRS and state tax notices and audits
Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development
Work on-site during the first year with potential flexibility in subsequent years.
Collaborate with all team members and financial advisors on complex tax matters and client engagements

Qualifications:

Active Enrolled Agent (EA) or CPA
5 years of recent experience in public accounting or tax-focused firm
Experience with high-net-worth individuals and small business clients or business and estate/trust taxation.
Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations
Experience in tax software (e.g. UltraTax) and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication and client service skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
