Job Title: Senior Operations Project Manager
Location: Westminster CO 80021 (Hybrid)
Duration 6 Months
Rate : $70/hr w2
Overview:
Senior Operations Project Manager with strong experience in manufacturing operations to drive high-impact initiatives across production footprint optimization and tariff-related projects. This role requires a proven leader who can manage multiple cross-functional efforts simultaneously while balancing strategy and hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver complex operations and manufacturing projects including footprint expansion tariff initiatives and production efficiency efforts.
- Manage cross-functional alignment across 6 7 different groups including operations supply chain engineering and finance.
- Develop and maintain project plans budgets schedules and resource loading to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Apply both Agile and Waterfall methodologies where appropriate to meet business needs.
- Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations using PowerPoint; manage reporting and progress tracking with Gantt charting tools.
- Monitor risks issues and dependencies and provide clear communication to stakeholders at all levels.
- Drive accountability with a hands-on project management approach ensuring successful execution of strategic initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 7 years of Project Management experience with a strong background in manufacturing operations.
- Demonstrated success managing footprint tariff and production-related projects.
- Proficient in MS Project Gantt charting PowerPoint and other PM tools.
- Strong experience with budgets forecasting and resource planning.
- Ability to manage both Agile and Waterfall projects effectively.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills with experience coordinating across multiple teams.
- Hands-on detail-oriented approach with the ability to balance execution and strategy.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP or equivalent project management certification.
- Experience in the packaging consumer goods or manufacturing sector strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP or production systems a plus.
