Job Summary Rewrite: Project Engineer with a Focus on Hydraulics and Land Development

We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer eager to contribute to the construction and land development industry. This role centers on providing technical expertise for hydraulic-driven projects such as stormwater modeling irrigation design and hydraulic studies. Successful candidates will collaborate closely with the team and work beneath a Project Manager contributing to the growth and success of land development projects while adhering to local and regional codes.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate on team-oriented projects with a primary focus on hydraulics and land development.
Perform stormwater modeling hydraulic studies and irrigation design in compliance with all applicable codes.
Develop designs and plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D and HydroCAD.
Write technical reports and analysis to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Participate in critical technical writing stormwater management planning and plan development.
Conduct site visits (locations include South San Francisco Livermore and Pacifica) and report findings.
Mileage is reimbursed for site-related activities.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Hydraulic Engineering or Land Development. Degrees in Environmental Engineering will also be considered.
1 2 years of relevant experience in the land development and construction design industry.
Proficiency with tools like AutoCAD Civil 3D and HydroCAD (experience in coding not required).
Strong critical-thinking skills with the ability to synthesize and analyze data effectively.
Demonstrated technical writing capability with attention to detail.
