We are looking for aUS Logistics Lead who isintellectually curious self-driven and adaptableto join ourGlobal Supply Chain team based in our Atlanta Georgiaoffice in theUnited States. Thishybridposition requires a minimum of 40% on site presence.
About the role
As the Logistics Lead for UCBs U.S. operations you will be the single point of accountability for managing third-party logistics (3PL) and transportation providers. Your leadership will ensure compliant cost-effective and high-performing distribution across the network. This role is critical to maintaining operational continuity mitigating risk and ensuring audit-readiness while also evolving the logistics infrastructure to support UCBs growing and dynamic portfolio.
You will drive key performance indicators such as on-time in-full (OTIF) delivery inventory control and addition youll lead strategic initiatives that enhance distribution capabilities including cold-chain capacity expansion and digital enablement. A core part of your responsibility will be managing logistics risks maintaining robust business continuity plans and executing transformation projects that future-proof UCBs supply chain.
Success in this role requires strong stakeholder leadership and cross-functional collaboration. You will govern vendor performance through structured reviews and ensure alignment with global logistics standards. Your ability to foster partnerships across UCBs U.S. and global teams will be essential to supporting product launches maintaining visibility and driving continuous improvement across the logistics ecosystem.
Who youll work with
Internally you will work with the US Supply Chain team Global Logistics External Manufacturing Quality Assurance Regulatory Affairs Procurement Digital Technology Global IT Finance the Recall Committee and the Change Control Committee. Externally you will work with Third-Party Logistics Providers (3PLs) Transportation Carriers and System Vendors.
What youll do
- People Leadership & Capability Development: Lead logistics team develop talent and foster a high-performance compliant culture
- Performance KPIs & Budget: Track logistics KPIs apply improvements and manage budget and cost modeling accurately.
- Distribution Network Optimization: Optimize U.S. distribution performance compliance risk sustainability and Fit-for-Growth initiatives.
- Inventory Control & Compliance: Ensure compliant inventory processes manage imports/exports and support recalls and product security.
- Systems & Digital Tools: Maintain SAP data accuracy resolve system issues and ensure logistics system continuity.
- Launches Projects & Network Enhancements: Ensure launch readiness lead U.S. projects and represent logistics in governance forums.
- Quality Serialization & Change Control: Close quality issues manage serialization and lead distribution-related change control processes.

Minimum Education Qualifications Skills
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics and Transportation Operations Management Industrial Engineering Business Administration Applied Economics Information Systems Computer Science Information Technology Applied Economics Communication Management or relevant supply chain related degree
- 10 years of experience in distribution and logistics including cold chain management
- Advanced SAP (SAP ECC and S/4Hana) Microsoft 365 skills
Preferred Education Qualifications Skills
- Masters degree
- 3 years of pharmaceutical leadership experience with US logistics
- APICS CPIM or CSCP Certifications
- Advanced Data Exchange (EDI) IQVIA ValueTrack skills
This positions reasonably anticipated base salary range is $124000-$162800 per year. The actual salary offered will take into account internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidates geographic region job-related knowledge skills and experience among other factors.
