Inviting applications for the role of Sr. Principal Consultant Networks
In this role you will oversee the operational integrity innovation and continuous improvement of global network services as a strategic Network Operations and Governance Lead. You will ensure that network operations align with internal control best practices service level agreements (SLAs) and global standards. You will supervise external vendor resources contribute technical expertise across the IT organization and lead initiatives to enhance service quality security and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Ensure network services comply with internal control frameworks and global standards.
Collaborate with internal/external audit teams to identify and resolve segregation of duty conflicts.
Develop and enforce global security policies standards and procedures aligned with corporate strategy.
Oversee service delivery to meet agreed business requirements and SLAs.
Monitor and report on service quality customer satisfaction and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure consistent support processes across global teams and platforms.
Supervise external vendor resources and offshore/on-site contract teams.
Share technical expertise across the IT organization and support knowledge transfer.
Partner with expert centers to onboard and support new technologies from a network perspective.
Ensure network teams follow PMO frameworks for project execution.
Train support staff on new operational procedures resulting from mergers/acquisitions.
Support regional technical leads in performance improvement upgrades and efficiency initiatives.
Represent the Networks team in service-level discussions and process improvement forums.
Promote and improve internal procedures standards and rules.
Ensure globally agreed process management practices are followed.
Propose and investigate new areas of improvement in network services.
Contribute to the definition of mid- and long-term service roadmaps.
Lead deployment of global business effectiveness methodologies and best practices.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in information technology business administration or a related field.
Wide years of experience in network infrastructure governance or IT operations.
In-depth Network Technologies (Wide Area Networks Local Area Networks Wireless Network Cloud Network IP Address Management Voice Network Security)
Expert in working with CISCO Juniper and Palo Alto technologies.
Experience managing external vendors and global teams.
Familiarity with ITIL ITOM and PMO frameworks.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive service excellence.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Masters degree in a relevant field.
Networking Certification
Exposure to automation gen AI or chatbot tools.
