Abbott Medical is currently looking for a new Territory Manager Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) to cover Flanders.

Abbotts CRM division develops advanced technologies that help manage irregular heart rhythms and improve patient outcomes. The portfolio includes pacemakers defibrillators and remote monitoring tools supporting healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality cardiac care.

Job Description

In this sales position you will be responsible for servicing the current customer base increasing sales within that base and establishing new accounts. You will also be responsible for effectively dealing with customer complaints and recommending consignment in accounts where necessary.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales quota per plan by servicing the current customer base increasing the sales volume to that base and establishing new accounts.

  • Implement comprehensive sales plans to ensure increased market penetration and establishment of new accounts.

  • Develop and maintain a good understanding of Abbott therapies and products.

  • Assist technical procedures as per planning requirements.

  • Prepare reports and perform required administrative sales duties (e.g. expense reports scheduling travel planning).

  • Maintain business operations in accordance with corporate policies regarding pricing quotes credit terms and quality guidelines.

  • Follow and share best practices before and after sales calls.

  • Develop knowledge of competitor products.

  • Proactively plan weekly travel schedule and communicate through appropriate channels.

  • Apply the company Account Profiling system to gather key account insights.

Education & Competencies

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.

  • 35 years of successful sales experience in the medical device industry.

  • Basic understanding of Abbott product lines and business dynamics.

  • Well-organized and accustomed to tight deadlines.

  • Strong computer skills (Excel Word Outlook PowerPoint).

  • Experience in a matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal verbal written and presentation skills.

  • Customer- and results-oriented self-starter.

  • Languages: Dutch English; additional language is a plus.

  • Strong negotiation skills.
