Job Summary
Change Expert/Junior Portfolio Manager
COO Finance is a global service organization under the COO and CFO Group departments servicing ING Finance departments with running services including change execution and application support. COO Finance operates out of the Netherlands Philippines Poland and India.
The ambition of COOF is to enable excellence in Finance with real time business insights derived from state-of-the-art technologies optimal use of data and highly effective operations. COO Finance is the heartbeat of Finance enabling INGs transformation towards a truly global network organization. COO Finance is responsible to ensure its services and products to the internal and external stakeholders are delivered timely accurate and compliant.
Within the COO Finance organisation we are looking for a Junior Portfolio Manager to support the Central Strategy Change & Portfolio Management Team.
Your role as a change expert means you
- Support the execution and governance of the strategic change portfolio across COOF inance
- Coordinate and track progress of key initiatives ensuring alignment with strategic priorities
- Maintain and improve dashboards reporting tools to cater for meaninfull portfolio insights
- Prepare content and materials for governance meetings (e.g. MT Portfolio Boards Change Meetings)
- Identify and help mitigate risks issues and dependencies across the portfolio
- Support initiating new initiatives in setup and governance create plan of approaches presentations where needed and drive smaller change initiatives adhoc support questions
- Collaborate with COO Finance collegueas and across ING Hubs HR Legal Compliance ORM/IRM and Finance departments where needed
- Contribute to the development and refinement of COOFs operating model effectiveness.
- You help the team to collect and share best practices
- You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment in an international setting
- You are proficient in stakeholder management being aware of cross-cultural sensitivities
Your profile
- You are a team player with 2 years proven experience in supporting and / or change / project management roles
- You are data savvy and take data-based decisions
- You feel comfortable in dealing with internal stakeholders on all levels
- You have fast adapting personality with a strong sense of taking responsibility initiatives and working independently
- You have strong analytical communications and planning skills
- You have ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines and to cope with a rapidly changing environment
- Interest to support strategic topics is a pre for which a consulting interest/mindset (conceptually strong thinker) will help you succeed
- You are result driven proactive and having a hands-on mentality
- Your English is fluent
- You have very good proficiency with MS Office especially Power Point and Excel
