Within ING COO Finance we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven professional to join our Data Management and Regulatory Reporting team. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between Finance and Data Governance ensuring regulatory compliance and data integrity across financial reporting processes.
Job Overview & Working Environment
As a Finance Data Management & Regulatory Reporting Analyst you will:
- Analyze regulatory data management frameworks identify compliance gaps and support implementation within Finance.
- Act as a liaison between Finance Experts Change Experts and Data Governance teams ensuring clear communication and alignment on data-related initiatives.
- Contribute to initiatives focused on regulatory compliance ensuring timely and accurate delivery of milestones.
- Support the enhancement of service experience and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders globally.
You will be part of a dynamic multi-cultural team located in Amsterdam & Manila collaborating with various ING stakeholders worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Data Management
- Analyze and implement regulatory data management frameworks (e.g. Basel BCBS 239 IFRS).
- Identify compliance gaps and support Finance in closing these gaps.
- Ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance in financial reporting processes.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Liaise between Finance Change and Data Governance teams to drive data-related initiatives.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration with service recipients and internal teams.
- Provide timely updates and insights to management and stakeholders.
Project & Change Management
- Contribute to regulatory compliance projects ensuring milestones are met.
- Support change management activities related to data governance and reporting.
Continuous Improvement
- Analyze processes and suggest improvements for data management and reporting.
- Participate in quarterly improvement meetings and knowledge sharing sessions.
Key Capabilities/Experience & Minimum Qualifications
- University BSc Degree or equivalent.
- Proven experience in Data Management and Data Governance within a financial or regulatory context.
- Solid understanding of Finance Regulatory Reporting (Basel BCBS 239 IFRS or similar frameworks).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract high-level insights from detailed data.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Results-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in a multinational or matrixed organization.
- Familiarity with data governance and regulatory reporting.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and compliance standards.
