Examination of the following: assembly and investment of early-stage risk capital; operation of venture capital firms equity and that of private firms; evaluation of investments; portfolio management; non-financial forms of value added provided by venture capital funds. Must have a PhD in an area directly related to the course. Must also be an active researcher in an area directly related to the course as evidenced by having published in high-impact peer-reviewed journals. Preference given to those with prior teaching experience in a research-focused graduate program such as an . or Ph.D. program.
