Job Summary
We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge as our new Golf Maintenance/Turf Care colleague.
What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Golf Course Superintendent responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Consistently offers professional engaging and friendly service
- Cutting grasses with a wide variety of self propelled and push type machines
- Smoothing bunker sand with hand rakes and machines
- Setting the golf course for play
- Labor intensive work in the form of digging lifting pushing walking fast and assorted tasks
- Embrace the Fairmont brand promise and luxury in your role and in all your interactions
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Your experience and skills include:
- Valid Class 5 drivers license and a 5 year drivers abstract dated within 30 days
- Perform tasks under minimal supervision
- Knowledge of tools methods and materials used in grounds and landscape maintenance work
- Understanding of the rules of golf
- Ability to work in a team and independently
Additional Information :
Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
