APD Operator Training Support Consultant

Assist in onboarding and mentoring certified dealer instructors (CDIs) and certified dealer operators (CDOs) to ensure alignment with Caterpillars training standards.

Support the delivery of ETS curriculum at dealer sites and customer locations.

Dealer Development

Coordinate with dealers to schedule training sessions and provide guidance on course selection and delivery.

Facilitate dealer prep sessions and assist with instructor certification activities under supervision of senior ETS staff

Training Logistics

Assist with scheduling quoting and confirming training sessions in collaboration with ETS and APD teams.

Maintain accurate records of training activities and support basic reporting needs.

Curriculum & Materials

Provide feedback on training materials and support updates to ensure relevance to customer needs.

Serve as a resource for simulator-based training and basic machine technology integration.

Training Operations: Knowledge of training processes and procedures; ability to implement training related tasks and programs to ensure smooth daily and strategic training operations.

Considerations For Top Candidates:

• Relevant work experience in industry training product support operating testing preferably in construction quarry and/or mining

• Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment and machine technologies (e.g. Command Grade VisionLink Productivity MineStar) is a strong plus

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Basic proficiency in scheduling and reporting tools

• Experience operating heavy equipment

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with dealer teams.

• Travel Requirements: Up to 50% travel is for this role; must have the ability to travel internationally
