Quote Manager (MFD)

Responsibilities

Owns plant quote process (Change on existing products & capacity increases on existing lines):

1. Define quote scope with relevant stakeholders

2. Lead quote kick-off / presentation to functional owners

3. Follow-up on functional dept to obtain data right quality right time

4. Internal quote deck creation & plausibility checks

5. Ensure quote plausible & competitive pricing (support sales strategy definition) while guaranteeing financial metrics

6. Lead quote presentation together with sales through various levels of approval

7. Owns plant quote tracker MGT

8. Follow-up and track of commercial closure / compliance including claims

9. Act as plant representative in front of customer including technical presentation when needed

10. Lead weekly quote review meeting

11. Ensure GQS up to date w/ Sales

12. Coordinate plant quote activities on new pursuit led by pursuit team

Qualifications

University Degree in Management / Engineering or similar

Manufacturing industrial background

Both technical and business mindset

Financial experience

Business experience within an Auto Industry is preferred

Cost modeling / cost estimator skills as a plus

Quotes submitted on time and at the right quality (monthly measured)

First time quality no rework

External and internal stakeholder satisfaction starting with customer

Compliance with internal policies and approval processes
