The North Carolina Department of State Treasurer (DST) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legislative Research Analyst to support the agencys efforts in tracking and evaluating legislation conducting legislative research managing constituent services and ensuring effective organizational coordination. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) withState Benefits including health insurance paid vacation paid sick time paid holidays as well as retirement.

TheOffice of State Treasurer (OST)serves as the organizational hub of the Department and its divisions. OST provides core services that serve the individual divisions including strategic planning human resources communications legal support and external (and legislative) affairs.This position will interact with agency leadership elected officials and their constituents; perform in-depth research and analysis of state policies; and assist in the communication of key issues to various stakeholders.

TheDepartment of State Treasurerscampus is located on Atlantic Avenue is surrounded by many shopping centers and restaurants has access to a 24-hour 7-day a week free gym on the campus and has free employee parking.
