You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailYou will be asked to provide assessment diagnosis treatment and referral of patients with minor injury/illness or exacerbations of chronic addition you may also run clinics for the management of long-term conditions (such as diabetes or respiratory illnesses) or provide advice for womens health matters or provide a LARC service.
The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility in attitude and behaviour. They will be keen to undertake new ways of working and delivering healthcare committing to under-taking the professional development required to adapt to changing circumstances.
Qualifications skills and experience required:
The surgery is run from a purpose built medical centre with onsite parking for staff and has a list size of are a semi-rural dispensing doctor partnership with easy access for commuters from a wide area (on a direct train line to London 25 minutes drive to Milton Keynes or 15-20 minutes from the M1 or A6).
We are a patient focused surgery with a multi-disciplinary supportive team including 4 GP partners 6 salaried GPs a nursing team including a lead nurse minor illness and practice nurses and HCAs. We also have a strong practice pharmacy team with clinical pharmacists and a pharmacy technician. Alongside this we also are part of PCN and supported by PCN pharmacists FCP physios a health and wellbeing coach and a paramedic. We are a training practice and also take part in research projects.
