Job Description

Stormont Vail Healthcare is seeking a full-time BC/BE Neonatologist to join our dedicated 5-physician and NNP team providing comprehensive care in a Level-III 36-bed NICU in Topeka Kansas a vibrant affordable city located near major university towns with excellent subspecialty support and advanced neonatal services.

Job Description:
Provide a full range of neonatal intensive care services in a Level-III NICU with 36 beds and an average daily census of 26 patients
Manage advanced neonatal therapies including High Frequency Ventilation Inhaled Nitric Oxide Total Body Cooling and amplitude-integrated EEG (aEEG)
Collaborate with subspecialty support teams including Cardiology Neurology Ophthalmology Hematology and Endocrinology
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team including 5 neonatologists and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs)
Participate in patient care coverage including potential call and weekend duties as per department policy
Engage with a community and hospital environment offering excellent quality of life and professional opportunities
Open BE and BC in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
Not accepting Locums candidates
Open to J1 visa candidates

STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
Kansas

ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
BC/BE (Board Certified or Board Eligible) Neonatologist Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine certification or eligibility Visa sponsorship available: J1 Visa eligible applicants welcome
