Job Summary

.

The Manager Facilities Maintenance and EHS ( Environmental Health and Safety) is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of facility operations maintenance programs and environmental health and safety compliance. This role ensures a safe efficient and compliant workplace supporting business continuity and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilities Management

  • Oversee daily operations of building systems grounds and equipment.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts for facility services.

Maintenance Leadership

  • Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
  • Supervise maintenance staff and ensure timely resolution of equipment and infrastructure issues.

EHS Compliance & Program Management

  • Lead EHS initiatives to ensure compliance with local state and federal regulations.
  • Develop and deliver safety training conduct audits and drive continuous improvement in safety culture.

Team Development & Collaboration

  • Recruit train and mentor facilities maintenance and EHS staff.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with operations HR and other departments.

Budgeting & Resource Management

  • Prepare and manage budgets for facilities maintenance and EHS programs.
  • Monitor expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Emergency Preparedness & Response

  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans.
  • Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelors degree with 5 years of experience combined in facilities maintenance or EHS management including those in a leadership role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Professional certifications (e.g. CFM PMP CSP CIH).
  • Experience in manufacturing or regulated environments med device highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems maintenance best practices and EHS regulations.
  • Proven leadership and team development skills.
  • Excellent communication analytical and problem-solving abilities.

This position is not open to employer based visa sponsorship.

Disclosure as required by applicable law the annual salary range for this position is $94667 to $148763. The actual compensation may vary based on geographic location work experience education and skill level. The salary range is CONMEDs good faith belief at the time of this posting.
