DescriptionADI Global Distribution is seeking a motivated analytical and collaborative Sr Sales Support Specialist to support and optimize our sales strategy and execution. This role plays a critical part in enabling the sales organization through data-driven insights process improvements partner support and technology enablement. As part of the AV sales team you will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions that drive performance and business growth.
JOB DUTIES
- Collaborate with sales marketing finance and operations teams to enhance sales effectiveness through improved tools analytics and insights.
- Prepare analyze and interpret operational and financial results utilizing internal and external data sources with an emphasis on impactful actionable conclusions.
- Identify reporting issues gaps in processes and work cross-functionally across the organization to drive timely resolution analyze sales and margin performance.
- Improve selling results and overall efficiency within sales organization through behavioral change.
- Own and manage sales data and reporting infrastructure (e.g. dashboards KPIs pipeline analysis win/loss analysis).
- Track strategic sales initiatives and provide reporting in timely fashion.
- Manage analyze and summarize weekly/monthly buying group and rep group data create weekly updates for key stakeholders engage in meetings to communication and provide feedback to ensure maximizing third party rep efficiency.
- Oversee analyze and synthesize weekly and monthly data from buying and rep groups; deliver concise updates to key stakeholders; actively participate in meetings to communicate insights and provide strategic feedback aimed at optimizing third-party representative performance.
- Manage and maintain records including customer and supplier to ensure accurate accounting for buying and rep groups.
- Support the execution of company initiatives by tracking project timelines deliverables and coordinating resources as needed
- Provide performance insights and business intelligence to support strategic decisions across customer segments sales channels and product categories.
- Assist in forecasting territory planning/optimization and target setting aligning with go-to-market strategies and business objectives.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives for CRM systems reporting tools and sales processes.
- Conduct root cause analyses and recommendations to drive revenue growth and improve sales productivity.
- Support onboarding and ongoing enablement of the sales and partners through training on processes tools and performance metrics.
YOU MUST HAVE
- 5 years of experience in Sales Operations Business Analytics Category Support or a similar role supporting commercial teams.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to turn data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency with Excel and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to collaborate across departments.
WE VALUE
- Experience with CRM platforms especially Salesforce.
- Working knowledge of SQL or other data query languages.
- Familiarity with B2B distribution technology or electronics industries.
- Experience supporting a geographically dispersed sales team.
