Summary
Responsible for evaluating implementing and maintaining comprehensive benefits plans that align with the companys goals and meet the needs of its employees
Essential Functions
-Administer various employee benefits programs such as health insurance retirement plans disability coverage life insurance and wellness programs.
-Evaluate existing benefits programs to assess their competitiveness cost-effectiveness and alignment with industry trends.
-Stay up-to-date with relevant federal state and local regulations governing employee benefits.
-Develop and deliver employee communications to explain benefit plans changes and updates.
-Collaborate with benefits vendors insurance providers and third-party administrators to ensure accurate and timely processing of benefit-related transactions.
-Compile and analyze benefits data including costs utilization rates and employee feedback.
-Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding benefit-related inquiries concerns and claims issues.
Education
- Bachelors Degree Human Resources Management required or Bachelors Degree Related Field of Study required
Experience
- Human Resources Experience 1-2 years required and Benefits Administration Experience 0-1 year preferred
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- - Strong knowledge of employee benefits regulations compliance requirements and industry best practices.
- - Familiarity with various benefits programs such as health insurance retirement plans life insurance disability coverage and wellness initiatives.
- - Excellent analytical skills with the ability to evaluate data identify trends and make data-driven recommendations.
- - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with employees vendors and stakeholders.
- - Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
