WB FCP Change Lead
As the WB FCP Change Lead you will be at the forefront of Wholesale Banking Financial Crime Preventions (WB FCP) digital transformation journey. You will lead the change organization and shape the Digital FCP Strategy ensuring that all change initiatives are aligned with ING WBs broader goals and deliver tangible value across the organization.
Role and responsibilities
You will oversee the full change portfolio driving prioritization execution and stakeholder alignment across three core domains:Change Operations Delivery and Design.
- InChange Operations you will ensure effective governance and strategic planning manage the QBR process coordinate software releases oversee support functions maintain budget control manage cross team projects/programs and establish standardized ways of working and communication.
- InDelivery you will lead the implementation of features and solutions maximize business value manage dependencies and ensure performance monitoring and second-line support while contributing to strategic reporting and value realization. You promote a predictable value driven change environment.
- InDesign you will guide the development of scalable future-ready solutions through an end-to-end design oversight. You ensure a proper feedback cycle with end-clients and users is in place to minimize friction. Collaboration with the global process leads and other relevant business stakeholders is at the heart of all your designs and you have a healthy balance in seeking tactical versus strategical solutions.
As a key driver of structured forward-looking change you will play a pivotal role in delivering impact across WB FCP and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define execute and periodically review the FCP Digital strategy and ensure the strategy is known and well communicated across the FCP domain.
- Define execute and periodically review the strategic direction of the change organization within WB FCP.
- Ensure alignment with the broader digital transformation agenda and translate strategic priorities into actionable programs with measurable outcomes.
- You are part of the FCP MT and leading the FCP change board for your governance. When required you are also ad hoc participating in senior management committees.
- You maintain strong relationships with the key delivery tribes within your change domain and ensure they are timely informed on the WB FCP business needs.
Change Execution & Integration
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of change programs from initiation and planning to realization and embedding into business-as-usual (BAU).
- Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence by integrating design and tooling into daily processes and ensuring seamless execution.
Financial & Portfolio Management
- Manage and monitor change budgets ensuring financial discipline accurate forecasting and alignment with dynamic planning cycles.
- You ensure a transparent release management cycle in alignment with the FCP Operations department.
People & Performance Management
- Oversee key people processes including performance appraisals KPI setting hiring promotions and compensation alignment for team leads.
- Foster a high-performing collaborative team culture that supports growth and accountability.
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure all change initiatives adhere to INGs minimum standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Embed compliance considerations into program design and execution including alignment with Risk Appetite Statements (RAS).
Risk Management
- Identify assess and mitigate risks associated with change initiatives with a strong focus on non-financial risk (NFR).
- Ensure that risk controls are embedded throughout the change lifecycle and monitored effectively.
How to Succeed
As a WB FCP Change Lead you will need:
- AMasters degreeand a strong academic foundation.
- 15 years of international experiencein both Wholesale and Retail Banking with a balanced background across front office (Business) and back office (IT/Operations).
- 10 years of experience leading large complex change programs including those with significant IT components across both domestic and international environments.
- Aproven track record in controlled environments with successful collaboration with regulators legal and compliance stakeholders.
- The ability to operate effectively inmulticultural and cross-functional settings bringing together diverse teams and perspectives.
- Fluent in English speaking and in writing.
You bring:

- Strongstakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build trust and alignment across senior leadership delivery teams and the FCP Center of Excellence and FCP Operations.
