About the role:

The administrative resource unit (ARU) is a large team of professional administrators who provide a range of admin support across the organisation.

The aim of the role Team Administrator is to provide support to teams primarily in a specific Directorate and work flexibly across the organisation in line with business needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • managing enquiries (internal and external) to ensure information reaches the right people to respond;
  • providing team support by arranging team meetings and taking notes when required;
  • following processes and procedures;
  • arranging travel;
  • budget administration.

The role requires engagement with stakeholders to ensure that the relevant team receives appropriate administrative support.

About you:

  • You will be proactive with excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Experience of Microsoft Office programs Word Excel Outlook and Teams are essential.
  • Experience of using multiple inboxes and calendars note and minute taking is preferrable.
  • Experience of budget administration is desirable.
  • You will have customer service focus and be confident in engaging with the public through calls and emails as well as with a wide range of internal stakeholders.
