Development & Donor Relations

Development and Donor Relations (DDR) is a unit within the Universitys Advancement portfolio responsible for the cultivation solicitation and stewardship of private donations made to UNB.

WHAT WE OFFER

Full-time 2-year Term Fredericton Campus On-Campus

Standard Work Hours: Mon - Fri 8:15 am - 4:30 pm 36.25 hours per week

Salary Range: $59696 - $81360 per annum

YOUR FOCUS

Reporting to the Philanthropy Programs Manager this position will manage a portfolio of 75 to 150 prospective donors with the capacity to donate between $1000 and $5000 annually. This role is responsible for identifying cultivating soliciting and stewarding these prospective donors.

Position Summary:

  • Develop and implement tailored engagement strategies using a multichannel approach including in person visits video calls etc.
  • Guide donors through the process of establishing named awards.
  • Mange existing pledges by updating payment details and following-up with donors as commitments near completion.
  • Develop and implement a Leadership Annual Giving program to bridge the gap between the broad-based annual giving program and the major gifts program.
  • Proactively identify new leadership annual giving prospects increase donor participation and cultivate long-term donor loyalty.
  • In collaboration with other members of the team develop special affinity appeals and group giving fundraising campaigns.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • A university degree or a background in a related professional field which may include client/business development non-profit management sales or marketing.
  • A minimum of three years fundraising experience with a preference for frontline fundraising experience. Experience with CRM systems and donor databases preferred.

Additional Strengths:

  • Must have the ability to travel within New Brunswick.
  • Excellent computer skills with a high proficiency in Microsoft office.
  • Strong database management skills would be an asset.
  • May be required to work non-traditional hours
