What You Do
Accounting Specialist Vendor Payables
- Process vendor invoices
- Process Third Party Provider/outside broker commissions
- Review and process employee expense reimbursement requests
- Monitor accounts payable email address
- Ensure proper approvals for all invoices expense reports and payment requests
- Ensure adherence to MMA compliance rules/regulations
- Additional responsibilities necessary to successfully complete role
- Any other duties that may be assigned
Your Education and Experience
Required
- College degree or 3 years of previous accounting experience preferably in the insurance industry.
- Must be detailed with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and high sense of urgency.
- Prior success and experience operating in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Must have strong technical skills
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft products including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Concur Invoice and/or Expense or Oracle software a plus
