Job Summary
Cordia Resources is seeking a Junior Accountant. The Junior Accountant will play a key role in supporting the accounting function with responsibilities across general ledger accounts payable and audit preparation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented organized and eager to grow within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform month-end reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Prepare and post journal entries to support timely month-end close
- Assist with accounts payable processing and vendor management
- Provide audit support including preparing schedules and documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field required
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
