Responsibilities
- Handle full spectrum of payroll payment functions including PRC secondees and subsidiaries payroll gratuity payment and retirement contribution.
- Support the administration of payroll processes and data checking for the payroll office including monthly allowance claims tax returns non-recurring pay and deductions.
- Provide accounting and financial support to the Payroll Office of the Finance Function
- Liaise and coordinate with HR business partners and handle staff inquiries
- Assist in Human Resources Management System (HRMS) or related system enhancement projects and user acceptance tests
- Assist with other ad hoc projects or duties as assigned
Requirements
- Grade E / Level 2 / Attained or above in 5 subjects of HKCEE / HKDSE including English and Chinese Languages and Mathematics preferably with post-secondary education in Accountancy / Human Resources Management or a related discipline
- A minimum of 5 years relevant experience
- Knowledge of Inland Revenue Ordinance Employment Ordinance and other relevant statutory requirements
- Hands-on experience in PeopleSoft Payroll System and Oracle Financial System
- Detail-oriented with good numerical sense and proactive attitude
- Good change management skills and ability to work independently under pressure
- Strong awareness and sensitivity on handling confidential information and payroll matters
