This role is office based and the successful candidate will be expected to work from the office for the majority of the time
Due to the global nature of the team a degree of flexible working will be required to accommodate different time zones.
Qualifications
This is an ideal role for a recent graduate or early-career professional wishing to launch a career as an analyst and eventually thought leader in the power and renewables and energy transition space. We expect you to have a high aptitude for quantitative analysis and modelling and to be curious to get beyond the headlines on big technology and market trends.
The successful candidate will be expected to have the following qualities qualifications and experience:
High interest and aptitude for market analysis and a strong interest in power and renewables.
1-2 years of relevant work or study experience in an analytical role. An understanding of power markets technologies and economics is a plus.
Enthusiasm curiosity willingness to expand knowledge and skills.
A Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline such as engineering science economics finance or other area. A graduate degree is preferred but not required.
Strong Excel skills. Relevant experience in data and database management is a plus.
Strong organisation planning and time management skills
Effective writing and presentation skills
Strong attention to detail
Experience in power dispatch modelling is a plus
Fluency in English is mandatory; fluency in another language is a plus
