BWC OCSEA Selection Rights:

42 mos. exp. or 42 mos. accounting &/or finance to include an advanced level of experience in spreadsheet software.

-Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration accounting finance or related field; 18 mos. exp. or 18 mos. accounting &/or finance to include an advanced level of experience in spreadsheet software.

-Or completion of graduate core program in business administration accounting finance or related field; 6 mos. exp. or 6 mos. accounting &/or finance to include an advanced level of experience in spreadsheet software.

-Or 12 mos. exp. as Financial Analyst 66562.

-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above. NOTE: Successful completion of the Fiscal Academy may be substituted for 4 mos. of required accounting/fiscal experience referenced in this portion of the minimum qualifications.

BWCs core hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm however daily start/end times may vary based on operational need across BWC departments. Most positions perform work on-site at one of BWCs seven offices across the state. BWC offers flex-time work schedules that allow an employee to start the day as early as 7:00am or as late as 8:30am. Flex-time schedules are based on operational need and require supervisor approval.

What Youll Be Doing:

Under direction of Investment Accounting Supervisor evaluates and coordinates outside investment manager trade communication with the custodial bank and master record keeper.

Reviews daily investment manager bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and timeliness and works with outside parties to resolve reconciling items.

Design and prepare ad hoc financial investment accounting report and conducts special projects.

Monitors investment portfolio to ensure in compliance with BWCs Investment Policy and the contract the investment manager was hired to manage.
