Job Summary
We are looking for a seasoned results-oriented Investment Director to drive strategic transactions in the metals & mining and oil & gas industries with a particular focus on the CIS and Middle East regions. The ideal candidate will have a proven history of completed deals and a strong grasp of industrial value chains and sector-specific dynamics.
Main Responsibilities
- Oversee the full cycle of M&A and strategic investment processes
- Handle deal structuring negotiations due diligence and transaction closing
- Develop and manage a pipeline of opportunities across target industries
- Prepare and deliver investment cases and recommendations to the Investment Committee
- Work closely with external advisors legal teams and technical experts
- Track industry trends geopolitical shifts and macroeconomic risks
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in corporate M&A M&A advisory investment banking or private equity
- Demonstrated success in closing transactions within metals & mining and/or oil & gas (deal sheet required)
- Strong understanding of industry operations commercial drivers and regulatory frameworks
- Advanced skills in financial modeling and valuation
- Exceptional negotiation leadership and communication capabilities
- Advanced degree in Finance Economics or a related field (MBA or CFA preferred)
- Fluent in English and Russian
