QUALITY SUPERVISOR
GRAND PRAIRIE TEXAS GRAND PRAIRIE PLANT

As a member of the Quality team the Quality Supervisor will be responsiblefor in ensuring product quality process efficiency and adherence to quality standards within the manufacturing plant. Monitor inspect review scrap and drive corrective action plans that contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

The Role:

Your work will include but not be limited to:

  • EOL Inspection Monitoring and Problem-Solving to reduce IPPMS.
  • Monitor and conduct problem-solving activities related to EOL inspection to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications.
  • Review scrap data and drive corrective actions to address internal supplier material defects and reduce waste.
  • Initiate Launch with Production Trial Runs (PTR).
  • Oversee the I-GCA Process and assist in Report Outs.
  • Initiate containment actions and establish clean points to prevent contamination.
  • Develop and implement immediate response action plans to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Support plant quality compliance efforts by collaborating with cross-functional teams and addressing quality-related concerns.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase plant efficiency product quality and process effectiveness.
  • Provide support during product launches to ensure a smooth transition and adherence to quality standards.
  • Manage hourly pay records and ensure accuracy in the Kronos system.
  • Review all quality alerts with shop floor members and collaborate with production on maintaining training programs and bid processes.
  • Initiate and lead fast response processes to address urgent quality issues.
  • Performs any other duties required in pursuance of the function of this position or as directed by the Quality Manager.

Your Qualifications:

  • Four-year college degree/and or related experience.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Prior work experience as a Quality Engineer and/or related role.
  • Supervisory experience and understanding of quality systems recommended.

Bonus If You Have:

  • Experience working in a JIT plant.
