British American Tobacco Jordan has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer in Amman Jordan.
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for maintaining upgrading and rebuilding manufacturing equipment in the secondary manufacturing department. The role ensures all electrical installations and maintenance activities are executed efficiently to support continuous production operations in a cost-effective manner.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues to ensure continuous production line operation.
- Analyze breakdowns and process failures and implement improvements considering cost and efficiency.
- Participate in Line DDS meetings and execute daily operational plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards including guards interlocks and EHS protocols.
- Conduct technical training create One Point Lessons (OPLs) and support capability development on the shop floor.
What are we looking for
- Strong technical skills in electrical systems and a good understanding of mechanical processes.
- Effective communication and coaching abilities with strong interpersonal collaboration skills.
- Basic problem-solving and computer skills; intermediate Excel skills are a plus.
- Initiative and openness to change with the ability to prioritize competing needs.
- High level of personal responsibility accountability and a drive for continuous improvement.
