Job Summary
Passionate about cooking with an eye for aesthetics and detail
Under the supervision of the head chef the junior cook plays an essential role in assisting the senior cooks/head chef with various food preparation tasks.
Start Time on Weekdays: 5:30AM
Start Time on Weekends: 6:30AM
Start Time on Weekends: 6:30AM
WHAT YOULL DO
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients ensuring they are measured chopped and organized as per the Chefs instructions
- Work closely with kitchen team to ensure efficient and timely service
- Actively seek opportunities to learn and enhance culinary skills
- Willingness to assist in different sections of the kitchen as needed
- Operate all kitchen equipment and conduct themselves with safety in mind at all times
- Other task as required
WHAT YOULL BRING
- Culinary school diploma or Experience in full service restaurant
- Ability to work within a team
- Good communication skills
- Able to lift/carry/push supplies or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
- Able to stand for up to 5 hours at a time
