Job Summary
As Head Sommelier you will oversee all aspects of our wine program from curation and cellar management to staff education and guest engagement. Youll work closely with our culinary and front-of-house teams to ensure our wine offerings complement our menu and reflect our standards of excellence.
What you will be doing:
Curate and maintain a dynamic diverse and balanced wine list
Manage inventory purchasing and vendor relationships
Lead wine service during service hours providing expert guidance to guests
Train and mentor FOH staff in wine knowledge and service
Plan and host tastings pairing dinners and wine-focused events
Monitor and maintain cellar organization and stock control
Ensure full compliance with licensing laws and health & safety regulations
- Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues to maintain a high level of service.
Qualifications :
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
Minimum 35 years of sommelier experience in a fine-dining or high-end hospitality environment
Certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers (or equivalent) preferred
Deep knowledge of global wine regions producers and vintages
Exceptional palate communication skills and table-side presence
Proven ability to lead inspire and educate a team
Passion for hospitality and a guest-first mindset
