Job Description
The Opportunity
Were currently looking for a Temporary Planning Ordering & Distribution (POD) Manager someone to join our team in Finland for one year. Reporting to the Head of Operations you will cover sales forecasting order tracking delivery planning registrations as well as the various internal fleets.
This position is at Polestar Finland located in Helsinki. We believe in a hybrid model when it comes to remote and onsite work knowing that both in-person collaboration and individual time to focus are needed. What matters most is that people get the time and support to do what needs to be done. And to enjoy doing it of course.
The Responsibilities
In this role you will focus on executing the Order-To-Delivery (OTD) strategy to ensure Polestar customers in Finland receive their vehicles in a timely efficient and premium manner. Success in this position requires the ability to manage multiple high-level stakeholdersboth internal and externalas POD is a critical component of Polestar Finlands overall performance. You bring a positive solution-oriented mindset strong time management skills and the agility to juggle multiple tasks while adapting priorities as needed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure that all cars within Finnish market are delivered on time and in a Polestar way
- Monitoring and report on order bank creating forecasting models and subsequent targets
- Review and manage third party logistics providers
- Placing stock orders reporting on stock situation and managing order matching
- Departmental KPI/Scorecard reporting
- Ensuring data within the factory order system (VISTA) is accurate and supports dashboard reports highlighting any discrepancies between systems to central teams.
- Troubleshooting any problems within the OTD (Order To Delivery) journey and escalating where necessary.
- Investigate and follow up on process gaps and highlight opportunities for improvement
- Planning and overseeing requirements for the registration of vehicles
- Supporting the Head of Operations & MD in developing the market/OTD strategy in Finland
The ideal candidate
To be a great fit for this role we are looking for someone with strong business acumen and a deep understanding of both customer needs and product dynamics. You possess excellent problem-solving skills and are confident in making tough decisions when needed. Taking ownership comes naturally to you and you consistently demonstrate accountability in your work. You are also an exceptional communicator with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across various stakeholders.
Further on we are searching for you with:
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role. Experience in automotive is a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication in English and Finnish
- Excellent knowledge of Excel
