We are seeking an inspirational and highly accomplished A-Level English Teacher to join an Outstanding secondary school located in the prestigious city of Westminster. The Role
The school is looking for a qualified English Teacher with a proven track record of excellence particularly at the advanced level. The ideal candidate will be adept at fostering sophisticated analytical and critical thinking skills in students. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering exceptional and challenging lessons in English Literature and/or English Language to students across Key Stage 3 GCSE and with a primary focus on A-Level.
- Developing and implementing a rich and diverse curriculum that spans various periods genres and critical theories.
- Guiding A-Level students through complex texts coursework and intensive examination preparation ensuring outstanding results.

Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this elite position you should have:
- A degree in English Literature English Language or a closely related discipline.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE.
- Extensive proven experience teaching English at the A-Level with a history of achieving excellent student outcomes.
- Deep subject knowledge and a genuine passion for academic excellence.

Salary & Application
The salary for this position is highly competitive and will be paid to the MPS/UPS scale (Inner London pay scale) commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
