About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) of Humanities to join a well-regarded secondary school in Essex with an Ofsted Good rating. The successful candidate will teach Humanities across KS3KS4 (specialisms in History Geography or Religious Studies are welcome). This is a fantastic opportunity for a Humanities ECT to begin their career in a supportive and ambitious environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and thought-provoking Humanities lessons at KS3KS4.
Inspire students to develop curiosity and critical thinking about the world around them.
Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to support student achievement.
Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and resources.
Contribute to departmental enrichment activities such as trips or cultural projects.
Fully engage with the ECT induction programme to build strong foundations.
