Were looking for a Wellness Editor to join the GHI content team to continue to build our trusted reputation in this area focusing on new health and fitness launches sexual wellness supplements products to support women in perimenopause and menopause and more.
The role of the Wellness Editor involves creating and delivering quality health & fitness review content across both print and digital writing product reviews that cover exciting health and fitness launches sexual wellness womens health products and more. This role requires someone who is up to date with all the latest health & fitness trends and product releases and can bring them to life through sparkling copy and creative formats.
The Wellness Editor will work with the GHI content and testing teams to help drive the testing calendar ensuring results are delivered on time to meet copy deadlines. They will work with the video team to provide scripts and give feedback on edits helping to bring our testing process to life and tap into viral fitness trends. They will also liaise with the accreditation team to ensure were delivering on our commercial targets.
They will support the GHI Director of Content day-to-day with proofing copy for other members of the team so attention to detail understanding what makes clean engaging copy and the ability to give constructive feedback is critical.
As such a central role to the Good Housekeeping Institute content team it is vital the Wellness Editor has strong collaboration and communication skills. A passion for health and fitness content and product review writing experience across digital and/or print plus the ability to juggle numerous tasks pay attention to detail and stay organised are essential. The Wellness Editor should have good SEO and affiliates knowledge. Experience creating and feeding into video is a sought-after plus.
Main Duties
What We Are Looking For
Excellent in-depth knowledge of the latest wellness product launches and trends with a strong instinct for what will resonate with audiences.
Proven experience working with PRs and brands to secure timely information assets and inside scoop on upcoming launches.
Strong writing ability with an assured consistent tone plus demonstrable experience producing wellness contentonline and in print.
Confident top-editor: comfortable reshaping structure refining headlines and giving clear constructive feedback on amendments.
Digitally fluent with experience using content management systems and solid knowledge of SEO best practice affiliate linking and performance-minded content decisions.
Able to translate product testing results into engaging jargon-free copy at speed without losing accuracy or nuance.
Highly accurate and organised with strong attention to detail and confidence communicating with multiple stakeholders; newsletter writing and Photoshop skills are a bonus.
