Job Description

We are excited to be working with a highly regarded primary school in Oxford that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join their team from January 2026. This is a full-time permanent position and a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher to inspire and support pupils as they progress through Key Stage 2.

The school is looking for a teacher who can deliver engaging and creative lessons foster a positive learning environment and contribute to the wider school community.

Year 3 Teacher Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Year 3 curriculum.
Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
Monitor assess and report on pupil progress.
Create a safe inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
Build positive relationships with parents carers and colleagues.
Contribute to extra-curricular activities and wider school life.

Year 3 Teacher Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Proven experience teaching in primary education ideally in lower Key Stage 2.
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum.
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
A reflective adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
