We have partnered with a large manufacturing company in the Minneapolis MN area to provide them with an R&D Lab Technician. Please review the description below and let us know if you are interested.

Prioritized Must Have Skills for the R&D Lab Technician:

#1. High School Degree or equivalent.

#2. Lab experience

Requirements of the R&D Lab Technician:

The R&D Technician will work supporting Powder coating technologies. The technician will be accountable for routine experiments capturing/recording results learning basic knowledge of raw materials using lab equipment to prepare powder samples and performing basic performance testing.

Demonstrates knowledge of basic computer skills
1. Upkeeps Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) to document all formulation processes and testing data
2. May use Microsoft Work/Exel/other software programs to record and report data
Demonstrates ability to manage time efficiently
1. May work on multiple projects at once
2. Maintains clean work areas and participates in Housekeeping and Safety programs as required
Performs sample preparation and testing according to set standard
1. Understands and follows all Work Instructions SOPs and ITMs after being trained and signed off to use equipment
Works with manager and chemists on the team to understand project needs and priorities
1. Effectively communicates project timeline and results and assists team members to meet project deadlines
Complies with all safety regulations
1. Follows all company and site safety rules as well as safety rules specific to the powder lab

Other Key Requirements for R&D Lab Technician:

This is a 9-month temp position.
