Job Description

Registered Nurse- Trauma OR (Night Shift)
Location: Miami FL 33010
Shift: 12-hr Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join the Trauma Operating Room (OR) team at a top-tier medical facility in Miami FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trauma or acute care settings and will be responsible for providing direct patient care before during and after surgical procedures. This role requires excellent clinical judgment strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in high-stress fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Trauma Operating Room.
  • Monitor and assess patient status throughout the surgical process.
  • Collaborate with surgeons anesthesiologists and other members of the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Prepare operating room for surgeries including sterilization of equipment and ensuring availability of necessary instruments.
  • Maintain accurate patient records documentation and care plans.
  • Respond to emergency situations quickly and effectively.
  • Follow hospital policies procedures and infection control standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current Florida license as a Registered Nurse
    OR
    Recognized Compact Licensure (in accordance with Florida State Licensing Requirements including ongoing eligibility and duration provisions).
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Minimum 2 years of trauma or operating room acute care experience.
    (This is a MUST.)
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must obtain within 30 days of start.
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or must obtain within 30 days of start.
