Job Description
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations angioplasties and electrophysiology procedures.
- Operate and maintain Cath Lab imaging equipment.
- Prepare patients for procedures including positioning and monitoring vital signs.
- Ensure accurate documentation of procedures and patient data.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control standards.
- Participate in on-call rotation as required.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Perform QA/QC on equipment and report issues promptly.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Cardiovascular Tech or ARRT-certified Radiologic Technologist with Cath Lab experience.
- ARRT (R) certification is required if coming from a radiology background.
- RCIS or RCES certification.
- BLS and ACLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start).
- Strong knowledge of sterile techniques cardiac anatomy and Cath Lab procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
