Cath Lab Tech (Day Shift)

Location: Port Saint Lucie FL 34952

Shift: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time

Guaranteed Hours: (40 hours/week)

Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Key Responsibilities:

Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations angioplasties and electrophysiology procedures.
Operate and maintain Cath Lab imaging equipment.
Prepare patients for procedures including positioning and monitoring vital signs.
Ensure accurate documentation of procedures and patient data.
Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control standards.
Participate in on-call rotation as required.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Perform QA/QC on equipment and report issues promptly.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Cardiovascular Tech or ARRT-certified Radiologic Technologist with Cath Lab experience.
ARRT (R) certification is required if coming from a radiology background.
RCIS or RCES certification.
BLS and ACLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start).
Strong knowledge of sterile techniques cardiac anatomy and Cath Lab procedures.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
