Job Summary
Interventional Radiology Tech Day Shift
Location: Dallas TX 75246
Shift: 10 hr Days 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time

Guaranteed Hours: (40 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
- Assist physicians with image-guided interventional procedures (e.g. angiograms embolizations biopsies drainages)
- Prepare and maintain equipment rooms and supplies for IR procedures
- Ensure patient safety and comfort before during and after procedures
- Operate fluoroscopy and radiographic equipment to obtain diagnostic images
- Adhere to sterile techniques and infection control standards
- Monitor and record patient vital signs during procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists nurses and other staff in providing quality care
- Document procedures patient responses and images in the EMR
Education:
- Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program
Experience:
- Prior Interventional Radiology (IR) experience is required
- Neuro and trauma IR experience preferred
- Experience in a busy high-acuity IR lab is highly desirable
Certifications & Licensure:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Required within 30 days of hire
- ARRT-R (Radiologic Technologist - Radiography) Required
- Texas Radiologic Technologist (MRT) License Required
- Within 2 years of hire must obtain certification in one of the following:
- ARRT-VI (Vascular Interventional Radiography)
- ARRT-CI (Cardiac Interventional Radiography)
- ARRT-CV (Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography)
