Specialist Revenue Accounting Operations (500 PM to 200 AM IST)

About the Role:

CrowdStrike is looking for aSpecialist Revenue Accounting Operations.This position will report to theDeputyManager. You will be required to interactwithininter/intrateamsin a fast-paced environment sometimes under pressure remaining proactive resourceful and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.We are looking for those eager to bring in best practice processes take on problems and streamlineprocesses for revenueaccountingoperations.

What Youll Do:

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of revenue accounting principles under US GAAP specifically ASC 606.Candidate should also have fair understandingand experience inGLaccounting workflow and accounting principles.The personshould have skills and ability to analyze the data and infer trends and potential issues before coming up with addition the candidate musthavestrongworking knowledge of ERP systems (NetSuite desired)as well asofthe month-end close cycle relating to revenue recognition. The candidate must have 6-8 years of relevant accounting experienceworking directly with the head office on consolidated accounting records inpublicly traded technology companiesunder SOX internal controls environment(SAASindustry experiencepreferred).Working knowledge and experience with automation and process improvement projects.Strong communication skills are essential as this role will interact regularly with other departments within the organization.

• Manage and execute partner rebate programs ensuring accurate and timely processing of rebates.

• Working closely with the financeand allianceteam to ensure proper financial reporting.

• Conduct regular audits of rebate calculations and payments to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and internal policies.

• Resolve discrepancies and handle disputes related to rebate calculations collaborating with partners and internal stakeholders

• Develop and maintain documentation for rebate processes calculations and program rules.

• Performmonthly account reconciliations for balance sheet accountsfordeferred revenueand other assigned accounts

• Analyze data trends while preparingmonthly and quarterly fluctuation analysis for revenue and deferred revenue accounts

• Identify and lead various automation projects

• Participate in the completion of internal and external audits including preparation of audit schedules and support calculations

• Assisting the accounting department with the preparation of financial reports

• Should have an eye tothedetail to question the current processes and work towards automating processesand bringing efficiencies

• Should be a team player and drive best out of the team membersShift

What Youll Need:

• Masters degree in accountingwith4to6years of relevant experience. CA preferred.

• High-techpublicly tradedcompany experience related to revenue recognition accounting;under SOX internal control environment required andSaaSindustryexperience preferred

• Workingknowledge of ASC 606 required

• In-depth understanding of GL accounting operations

• Experience with NetSuite oranothersimilar ERP system strongly desired

• Experience with other data analysis applications (e.g.G sheetTableau MS Officeat medium to expert leveletc.)

• A natural go-getter attitude data-driven detail oriented hands onhaving asense of urgency and the ability to follow through and implement process improvements

Shift Time:5.00PM to02.00AM IST
