Job Summary
Responsible for senior level professional financial accounting. May serve as subject matter expert in a specialized area. Solves complex problems.
Job Duties:
Perform monthly quarterly and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of accounts receivable and recording revenue journal entries
Responsible for managing one or more fiscal and accounting functions and for formulating and recommending policies and procedures to effectively administer such programs.
Formulates and recommends policies procedures and control systems.
Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations policies and procedures.
Prepares reviews and analyzes a variety of reports accounts reconciliations statements to and from internal departments financial institutions and external agencies.
Improve systems and processes and initiate corrective action
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in accounting
3 - 5 years accounting experience
Knowledge of US GAAP
Computer skills in Microsoft Excel accounting software and databases
Excellent organizational problem solving project management and communication skills
CPA certification preferred

Leadership Capability: Ability to build and motivate a team to improve the teams performance and contributions to the organization.
Communication Skills: Skill in building consensus for new ideas and initiatives and in communicating effectively with personnel and groups at all organization levels. Genuineness is required to build that consensus.
Hands-On: Must be willing and have the ability to participate in an early stage growth environment where it is required to roll sleeves up to tackle certain issues where bandwidth and/or skills of the team needs hands-on support of leaders.
Emotional Strength: Must have the ability to hear and support other leaders ideas and initiatives regardless of involvement without feeling others ideas arent valid or feeling left out.
