Senior Product Liability Practice Attorney

(Alt-Track)

Practice Area: High-Stakes Product Liability

Location: Los Angeles CA; San Diego CA; or Washington D.C. (Fully remote will be considered)

Salary: $180000 to $205000

Annually Benefits:

A non-partnership track position with a lower annual billable hour requirement and a uniquely collegial environment. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus 401(k) plan comprehensive medical dental and vision insurance and paid medical and parental leave.

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Senior Practice Attorney to support its nationally recognized Product Liability Litigation practice. This is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney with at least 3 years of product liability or similar litigation experience to join a highly regarded team.

Alternative track is ideal for a candidate seeking a non-partnership track role with a lower annual billable hourly requirement who desires a collegiate collaborative and supportive environment.

The attorney will play a key role in defending flagship consumer brands and aviation companies in complex high-stakes matters and bet-the-farm a/k/a bet-the-company cases. The work will primarily involve litigation from discovery and motion practice to trial preparation. This role is a chance to work with a team that is nationally ranked for its expertise in mass torts and high-exposure disputes providing an unparalleled opportunity to develop and hone your litigation skills. The position demands excellent legal acumen strong analytical capabilities and superb written and oral communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor in Law from an ABA accredited Law School.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in product liability law or a similar litigation-focused role.
  • Excellent academic credentials and strong references are required.
  • Superb written and oral communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience representing national or international manufacturers.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling mass torts disputes.
  • A track record of success in complex high-stakes litigation.
  • The ability to work seamlessly within a collaborative team-oriented environment.
